a platform to explore universal themes such as violence,
romance, humor and tragedy jumbled together resulting
in an astonishing einterpretation of our culture.
For Kuhl, photography is not just recording an image,
it is about altering the original and creating one
through alteration. This process extends beyond the
realm of the camera and it is through the actual physical
manipulation of the negative that Kuhl achieves his
